Welcome to the Companion Zoological Animal Research laboratory (CZAR)!

CZAR is a collaborative group of veterinarians and students directed by SVM faculty member Dr. Sanchez-Migallon Guzman. The research we conduct explores a wide range of topics concerned with health and disease in companion zoological species. Our main focus is to improve pain management, wellness and welfare in the companion zoological field. Please take a moment to get to know us by exploring our research program.
